The Armed Police General Hospital
is a large-scale third-level grade-A hospital, which integrates
the functions of medical treatment, health care, education and scientific
research. It currently possesses 700 beds, 1100 spread beds. The
hospital has set up 55 clinic sections. The gross value of all kinds
of equipment exceeds RMB400 million. There are altogether more than
200 experts working for the hospital. Successively it has established
“Postdoctoral Scientific Research Station” and “Continuing Education
College for Physicians from Armed Police Hospitals”. It is now the

hospital of The Fourth Military Medical University and
the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, undertakes the assignment
for educating the postdoctoral, doctoral and post-graduate students.
In 2003, it founded the Chinese International Search and Rescue
Team, which successfully fulfilled the rescue missions in Algeria,
Iran and Indonesia. In 2004, it was honored with the glory of “National
