Dr. Qibin Ye, director of the Center, professor, advisor of doctors of medicine, specially invited lead expert, was graduated from Medical School of Peking University. He studied abroad in Department of Orthopedics, University of Ottawa, now serves as vice president of China Association of Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons, vice chairman of Limb Salvage Surgery Committee, vice editor-in-chief of Orthopedic Journal of China,expert of Appraisement for the National Natural Science Funds. He enjoys special subsidy by the State Council. He has studied in aspects of scoliolosis, hump back, spondylolishesis, spinal stenosis, spine fracture and spinal tumor. A lot of operation methods was set up, among which the study on scoliolosis got the 2nd prize by Ministry of Health,

national 3rd prize (in 1987), and national 2nd prize (in 2005). Design and Clinical Application of Chinese Universal Spinal Instrumentation was awarded the 2nd prize of Chinese Medical Science and Technology Progress, which surpasses advanced level at home and abroad. As an effective therapeutic method for chondromalacia of patella, the muscle rehabilitation device he designed won the 3rd prize of 1997 Beijing Municipal Science and Technology. He compiled 5 monographs as editor-in-chief, such as New Operations of Spinal Surgery, Cervical Spondylosis, Scoliolosis Surgery, participated in compiling 8 monographs including Study on Orthopedic Operations, published more than 80 papers. He is a well-known expert of scoliolosis in China.
