Dr. Qi Wang, vice director of Institute of Heart Disease, General Hospital of the Armed Police Forces, director of the Department of Cardiovascular Disease, chief physician, professor, Doctor of Medical Science, advisor of postgraduates, has ever served as chief physician and professor in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery of the PLA General Hospital. He received training in the Fourth Military Medical University and the PAL General Hospital, and has got great achievement in diagnosis and treatment and research of congenital heart disease, valvular heart disease, coronary hear disease, great vessel disease. He has participated in more than 3000 extracorporeal circulation heart operations, among which over 1000 cases of extracorporeal circulation heart operations has been extracorporeal circulation heart operations,

 among which over 1000 cases of extracorporeal circulation heart operations has been done mainly by him as the chief executor. The complication rate and morbidity are less than 1%, occupying domestic leading level. He has published over 20 theses, participated in compiling 2 monographs, and won 1 third prize for medical achievement by Ministry of General Logistics. Now he is responsible for Remobilizing Bone Marrow Stem Cells in Treatment Ischemic Heart Disease, a key project of the PLA, works as main member of Basic and Clinical Research on Ventricular Aneurysm in Coronary Heart Disease and Experimental and Clinical Study on Orthotopic Heart Transplant, two important projects of the PLA. He skillfully grasps diagnosis and treatment techniques for various kinds of disease and perioperative management. Dr. Wang can independently complete operations of high difficulty, such as Bentall operation, Switch operation, Rastelli operation, etc. Now he is also the standing committee member of the 9^th Beijing Youth Federation, member of expert group in the Armed Police Forces, and enjoys special subsidy of the PLA.
