Stomatology Center is the specific medical center in the Armed Police Forces with specialty groups in stomatology, dentofacial surgery, orthodontics, dental cosmetology and artificial implant tooth. The 3 chief physicians in the Center assume member of the International Association of Oral Surgeons, council member of Chinese Stomatological Association, standing committee member of Chinese Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Chinese Society of Head and Neck Tumor Surgery, director of National Group of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Traumatology and Society of Stomatology of the Armed Police Forces and vice director of Society of Stomatology of the PLA respectively. In recent years, the Center has won 4 first and second prizes of Progress in Science and Technology of the Armed Police Forces. At present, the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery occupies the leading level at home, and tooth preservation, denture, implant, and orthodontics in the advanced level of the PLA.

Business activities in the Department of Orthodontics: orthodontics of irregular dentition in children and adults, infantile osteo-occlusion, induced development therapy, orthodontics for periodontal disease, and snore, pre- and post-operative orthodontics for straight jaw surgery, space maintainer, orthodontic artificial eruption therapy. The treatment course will be shortened by adoption of new technique and new materials.
