The department of dermatology is in charge of Armed Police¡¯s epicemic surveillance, prevention and treatment guidance, medical research and technical training. It makes health education on dermatosis for members of all the society. The department has strong professional technical force which holds famous experts on dermatology and many young and great-hearted, professional staff. With excellent techniques and high-quality services, the department provides satisfactory treatment for patients in and out of the Armed Police Forces. The department has accumulated excessive clinical experiences and good treatment efficacy on comprehensive skin diseases which has reached domestic advanced level, such as: psoriasis, vitiligo, alopecia, lupus erythematosus, ermatomyositis, deep mycosis, bullous dermatosis, vasculitis of the skin, and venereal diseases. The Department of Dermatology has outpatient clinic for dermatosis and venereal disease, expert clinic, medical cosmetology center and clinical laboratory and has many advanced medical equipment, such as treatment instrument of ultraviolet ray, high-power CO2 laser, microwave, electro-ionic, light quantum; physical therapy, instrument of epidermic grafting for vitiligo. And it has various experimental and examination equipment for dermatosis, pathology, immunology, biochemistry, fungus and bacterial culture, molecular biology, venereal disease. The department provides treatment for various sexually transmitted diseases such as urethritis, prostatitis, genital wart, genital herpes, syphilis, chancroid, and also provides examination and counseling services.
Distinct programs for dermatosis:
1. Treatment of psoriasis (serpedo) by Traditional Chinese medicine; 2. epidermis or cell transplantation for treating stubborn vitiligo; 3. treatment of various types of alopecia by traditional Chinese medicine combined with external-trichogen; 4. removal of verruca, ephelides, chloasma, verruca senilis, brandy nose, pigmented nevus, tattoo from face, neck or hand; 5. treatment of allergy, Itch of skin, allergen detection, desensitization; 6. treatment of child dermatosis.
Sexually transmitted diseases treatment: Gonorrhea, syphilopathy, non-gonococcal urethritis, condyloma acuminatum, bacterial vaginitis, pubic louse, and AIDS screening.
