introduction
Medical Information Center was founded in 2006, which was originally named as Department of Long-distance Website. Now it has 7 staff, including 6 soldiers and 1 office worker. The main responsibilities are listed as follows.
•to construct and maintain website of the hospital, help and instruct important departments to establish special website, and publicize dominant discipline, well-known experts, new techniques and new methods of the hospital;
•to be responsible for the website construction of Medical Image Database and update of medical database. The staff of the hospital may search, browse and download Chinese and foreign Biomedical periodicals and full-text medical electronic books at any local area network node at any time by Image Station;
•to provide service of Internet connection for the hospital;
•to undertake the work of providing long-distance medical service for all the soldiers and officers in the Armed Police Forces and local patients, and make efforts to build our hospital a medical information center of the Armed Police Forces of the country.
